It's Not--It's NEVER--"Just A Dog."

Instant disqualification from my circle of friends results from the expression of that or any similar sentiments...

  1. Dogs do teach us to be better people, or at least model a better behavior. You can see the joy and love in their faces. Thank you for that lovely photo essay. One of the dogs looked a little bit like William, my west coast, dark red, Golden Retriever.

    Dogs know when you are hurt or injured. They stay by your side when you are sick. On the whole, they are much more empathetic than people. They're also more optimistic and fun. I suppose they have less to worry about. But they sure make wonderful companions. When you don't want to get out of bed, they jump in and cheer you up.

    Always try to do whatever it is that a dog suggests.
